PICTURE ME HERE features art and storytelling by New Americans from Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Brazil, Ukraine, Nigeria, and Congo. The exhibition is a culmination of a year-long fellowship, where participants learn how to share their stories, build new friendships, and strengthen their skills in photography, video, animation, creative writing, and audio storytelling. The fellowship is a project of Picture Me Here and is funded by Arts in Society, a collaborative grant program funded by Hemera Foundation, Bonfils-Stanton Foundation, and Colorado Creative Industries, and administered by RedLine. The organization held classes at Denver Open Media, with an additional animation workshop hosted at Rocky Mountain College of Arts + Design.

Picture Me Here was founded in 2012 to provide refugees and immigrants the training and tools needed to share their stories, build creative and technical skills, and cultivate diverse and well-integrated communities.
