Benjamin Karr studied entertainment design at Art Center College of Design, Arts at Indiana University, and holds an MFA in character animation from the Academy of Art University. At AAU, he was fortunate enough to be taught by Pixar animators Angus MacLane, Scott Clark, Mike Wu, and Adam Burke. Since then, he has worked for Rhythm and Hues, Disney, and Sony Imageworks. He has animated on The Golden Compass, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Bolt, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, and Alice In Wonderland. Ben served as an Art Director for a number of years at Zynga Inc. and has taught Maya and animation classes at various schools during his career as an educator. He is currently working as a full-time character concept artist for Blizzard Entertainment.
