Joan Kresek teaches drawing, painting, illustration, typography, visual design and media usage, with background experience in Illustration, Graphic Design, and Publication Design online. As a professional artist, she is a realist; her intention is to create art that is strongly representative of the essence of the subject matter, using media ranging from acrylic paint on canvas to resin casts. Kresek paints for both galleries and commission. Kresek’s work is in collections in Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North and South Carolina and Colorado. Kresek also constructs dioramas with a focus on natural history and teaches drawing, painting, and media usage. She is teaching drawing and topics of color online.
