Shari Fleming believes Animation has allowed her to integrate everything she loves: children, writing, cartoons, story, and design. Besides being a teacher and writer, Fleming has worked as an Art Director, Color Designer, freelance character and EFX animator & assist. animator, and production designer on projects at her own studio and studios such as Warner Bros., Disney Interactive, and Fox Feature Animation. Fleming is a committed proponent for the use of Story to improve the internal and external lives of women and girls around the world.
Fleming earned her MA in Writing, Literature, and Film from Union Institute and University in 2010, as well as an MA in Education, Leadership and Emerging Technologies (ELET) from RMCAD in 2017.
